I don't think this is the right forum for this but I'm a bit desperate if any System 76 people are reading this forum right now. I received an E-mail from Carl Richell indicating that System 76's web hosting site was briefly hacked and my order may have been part of the hacked information (name, address, credit card, etc.). Is there any way to tell if my order was actually breached or if this was just a form E-mail sent out to everyone who ordered a PC in the last few days? This was not welcome news.

There was another thread about it earlier on :

Thanks; I'm calling my credit card company now. Bluntly, this sucks.

Happened to me too - I cancelled my card. Inconvenience yes, but that's the risk you take by engaging in internet purchases. **** happens.

There isn't a way to tell for sure if your information was compromised. We just wanted to be sure that anyone who *might* have been compromised was given a heads-up on the situation.

Fortunately our web master caught the problem very quickly and worked with our provider to solve it so that it doesn't happen again.

We're very sorry for the inconvenience and have a deadly serious commitment to keeping our customers safe.

Feel free to give me a call at the office to discuss.

atleast systm76 is being open about it. I can't help but think that a lot of companies would have tried to cover it up or just hope that no one is affected (or worse, that no one realizes that it's there company that messed up!).

I'm guessing if you did not get an email then your order/info was outside the range of what was exposed/compromised?

Correct.

Has the breach caused orders to be delayed?

Nope.
