Hi .. my Ubuntu 9.04 on Dual Core AMD 64 bit system is reporting in system, administration, systm monitor 50% CPU use by "mysqld_safe" ... all the time even when there is no database access ... Does anyone have an idea what is causing this excessive CPU load pls .. 50% .. Thanks Colin:o
