LCD display on MSI MediaLive

I have an MSI MediaLive and have got most of the system working, just a few outstanding issues, like the frontpanel LCD display.

I have the LCDproc server installed and can get it running by entering in terminal sudo LCDd

which displays the following on the display
LCDproc server
Cli: 0 Scr: 0


but I can't get any further. Can someone point me where to go next

Did you add in the wireless drivers, my interface is picked up automatically and works.
