I used to get updates almost every day but i haven't had any in over a

week. Is there something wrong or is it just that everything is

working right. It seems a little odd. Thanks

Thats pretty normal, as far as I know. Its been out for a bit now, so a lot of the bugs, etc that are what is usually addressed in such updates have been taken care of. Certainly nothing out of the ordinary or to worry about. You will tend to see a lot of updates after a new release, then not as many (though they are certainly releasing them when necessary) until the next release.

Yeh I would not worry about it, once something is patched in Ubuntu it stays patched.
I know its kind of scary at first especially if you are a former windows user where a patch is needed every time you blink but Ubuntu's security is much better.

I don't think I've seen an update for weeks but everything is working fine :)

Update notification has changed in Jaunty. You will only get notified right away if there are security updates, otherwise you will only be told there are updates once a week.
