Hi all,
Running Ubuntu 9 with the latest wine.
Installed Quake 3 just fine (via Wine) - yeah I know it works with linux, but I want to use wine.
The game starts and works fine - BUT - I can't make changes to my settings like movement.
Here's what I am talking about:
I can access the game options. I click on move forward and then hit backspace to remove the default. I am left with ??? in the space which is what it is supposed to do. When I click the S key on the keyboard to set move forward to S it does nothing... no response.
While in game none of the letter keys on the keyboard work either. The defaults for strafing are D A so on - none of those work... all other keys "ESC" for example for work fine.
Is this a font issue?
