hey guys i have a notebook with a widescreen and so the top panel is taking up a lot of space so i want to move all the stuff in it to the bottom panel. moving the menus was easy enough through the "add to panel" tool but how do i move the network icon and bluetooth icon from the top panel? They arent in the add to panel list so i have no idea.

thanks

I'm pretty sure the "Notification Area" applet handles those... Also under "Add to Panel".

Remove the notification area from the top panel first and then add it to the bottom panel. Or even better, remove everything from the bottom panel and install a dock to save space.

Right click top panel, seelct preferences and choose align to bottom. Then add the stuff from the other panel.

Install avant-window-navigator. Cairo Dock is another alternative.
