My next computer will probably be from System 76. I am totally in love with the Gazelle Ultra. I love how all the plastic is black with the Ubuntu logo on the outside. The computer looks perfect except I would kill for it to have a HDMI port. What are the odds an upgrade like this could happen before school starts at the end of August?

I'm sure this type of info can't be released. It's just wish full thinking.

It would be cool if System 76 had a subscribe feature on the website so when a new unit came out you could be notified.

I'm going to say that's a major FAIL for System76 not including what is almost standard on a $850 laptop

you got to pay $1400 for the serval with only 2 gig of mem to get HDMI

where getting into mac prices not a good way to compete

I'm going to get one to support the home team but still

you can get an HP for half the price double ram and it probably has two HDMI and all the other bells and whistles not to mention a useless MS license

They released the new Serval a month or so into the last school year so I missed out on HDMI. Hope your luck is better.

my pangolin has an hdmi port and its alot less expensive then the serval... i not all that impressed with the gui to get it to work though. So far i have only got it to clone the screen (via fn shortcut). Cloning the screen is pretty useless though when your resolution(1680*1050) is trying to fit on a 720p display

There probably will not be a refresh on the Gazelle before school starts.
