im trying to use a DWL-AB650 (d-Link Airpro) card to connect with intrepid (ubuntu 8.1)... its an atheros (ath0) card..

it seems to be able to detect wireless networks but it seems like its always in monitor mode or something (the two 'activitiy' and 'power' lights are alternating at a constant rate)... the router keeps asking for the WEP key and i cant get online!

i also have a dell truemobile 1300 card that i havent been able to get to work (that one doesnt even detect the networks)

I am sure that the dlink dwl-ab650 can work... its detecting the networks!! can any body PLEASE help me?? ive even tried to go and buy a usb wireless adapter (wusb54gc by linksys.... DOESNT WORK!) PLEASE HELP! im goin nuts!
