I love firefox, its cross platform, open and highly customizable.
Firefox addons have to be the feature I use the most and there are loads Which is both good and bad.
The "Recommended Addons" Is good but it only has those which have been around for a long time and only a few are of use to me, and there are far too many addons to search through countless pages until you find a good one.
So the point of this thread is to share your favorite addons, so an up to date and more complete list of addons can be found.
My List
1. WOT (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3456)
WOT, Web of Trust, warns you about risky websites that try to scam visitors, deliver malware or send spam. Protect your computer against online threats by using WOT as your front-line layer of protection when browsing or searching in unfamiliar territory. WOT's color-coded icons show you ratings for 21 million websites - green to go, yellow for caution and red to stop – helping you avoid the dangerous sites. Surf safer and add WOT to your Firefox now.
2. Desktop (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/11781)
Display thumbnails on new browser tab with full control on their layout.
3. Firefox Notify (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/search?q=firefoxnotify&cat=all)
This addon was made for ubuntu users, it replaces the default firefox download notification with the notify-osd in jaunty.
4. Skipscreen (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon
/11243)
Skips unnecessary pages on sites like Rapidshare, Megaupload, zShare, Mediafire, and more. Try it out, or watch a demo at skipscreen.com
5. Limitux (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/search?q=megavideo&cat=all)
We all hate it when on megavideo when suddenly we are told that we have reached our daily quota and must wait another day for more. This addon skips limitations imposed by streaming plateforms. Its purpose is watching without restriction videos from MegaVideo, Veoh, MegaUpload, Rapidshare.

What are your favorite Firefox addons?

I love Pimpzilla.
Gives your tool bars a cheezy, white fur surface and converts your tab bar to Leopard skin (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/search?q=pimpzilla&cat=all):D
(https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/downloads/latest/398/addon-398-latest.xpi)ForecastFox (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/search?q=pimpzilla&cat=all) shows the weather forecast in bottom bar of your browser. (I configure to only show icons for the next 5 days and not the radar map.)

I have to add a new extension called GReader Popup (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/11072). It adds a Google Reader popup, accessible from every tab via shortcut (See attachment)
I have created an easystroke shortcut to open/close it, so it's pretty easy to view feeds while browsing pages. It's freaking awesome.

Not the best extension, but the one that works on Ubuntu Forums.
Forum Preview extension (http://tech4computer.wordpress.com/2010/04/21/forum-preview-shows-photo-gallery-and-last-post/) . One of best in the sense that it enhances the site you spend time on. Hope some (its not for everyone) of you will like it. I used ubuntuforums.org site to test it when I was developing it. I liked the ubuntu forum color scheme.
If you are using any Craigslist extension then compare that with my Craigslist Peek.
I haven't tried it on linux though. I have xubuntu installed on ps3 but have disconnected it from internet as am afraid of the sony ps3 firmware update wiping out the otherOS functionality.
