I just wanted to post a very positive gaming experience I've had with Jaunty. Two days ago, that itch to play Medieval 2 Total War returned and I thought to myself, "what the heck, maybe this time it'll work." So I installed steam and and downloaded Med 2 through it. After doing some tweaking, I finally got it to work and I just wanted to say that I'm pretty impressed. The game plays pretty smoothly on the battle map and the only problem is that the campaign map lags. This just goes to show that linux is no longer a gaming leper. Hopefully, game developers will realize how great a gaming platform Linux can be. :D
Btw, anyone else here play Med 2? What kind of settings and hardware are you using? Does the game play smoothly?
