AOE under wine

Hi,
I installed AOE 2 under Wine and have few problems:

1) Font is black which insn't quite good on a black background (It's only for a few things, but anyway annoying...)
2) If I select a unit the game runs about 10 times slower; after deselecting it the game speed is normal again...

Both of your issues are listed here as known bugs, I'm assuming you already read this but figured I'd point it out anyway.
