I just updated ubuntu, on my now some what awesome ibook =D and I can't get the Synaptic Package Manager working now and I get this error.

Because I'm still new to linux but getting there I can't fix this myself so yeh help would be nice :popcorn:

"E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.
E: _cache->open() failed, please report."

Did you run it as

sudo dpkg --configure -a

It will ask for your password. You won't see it as you type, just hit ENTER after typing in your password.

lol:P I did try it but I think I did it wrong from the looks of it.Thanks looks like it's rebuilding it's self :P
