Okay I am a second life addict

My problem is while streaming audio works fine, second life itself crashes every 15 minutes, streaming media plays on...kinda annoying to me and fellow club members.

BBC iplayer struggles at times, but normal web seems okay

I am on 32bit intrepid

i have used all viewers i have found and the problem is the same...official viewers, cool, imprudence, hippo, kirsten, meerkat and my fave omvviewer.

My internet connection is not brilliant, even thinking of putting windows 7 on just to get my isp to solve any network connections

much appreciation in advance

I have the same exact problem you are having. I run Second Life, it is ok for a few minutes, but then, I lose all sound. The only thing I can hear are people talking, and the media. then, if I click on the "X" button, or close out second life, it crashes. I have NVidia video card 7500LE. I'm so frustrated, I"m actually thinking of going back to Windows. I tried tonight, but found my drive to be in the wrong format.
