Gimp question

Looking at gimp, have used Photoshop for years. With gimp is it possible to create file info as in iptc header information like you can do in PS. In order to keep using Ubunto I would love if gimp has this feature, since i cant run ps on ubunto.

You can run PS in Ubuntu. CS3 will work with Wine. If you need CS4 you can use Virtualbox to run Windows. Just do a forum search for how to's. I still use PS7. :)
