Hello,
I am running the 8.04 version of Ubuntu and everything installed perfectly, except for the display. I cannot get the resolution above 1280*768, but the Hannspree supports much higher than this. I have tried the System->Administrator->Hardware Drivers, but there are no drivers listed to enable. I have tried using a command at the terminal (which brings up a GUI you can modify the resolution), but this only succeeded in making the screen unreadable (and I had to reinstall as I could not get to rescue this situation). So I am stuck. Any ideas?
