Hey guys,
I have a brand new MacBook 5.2 and installed the 64-bit version of Kubuntu Jaunty. After I figured out that I should turn off ACPI, everything seemed to work great. But whenever I boot into my Kubuntu, after a while my system gets completely unusable. It blocks up and I can neither use my mouse, nor my keyboard. The transition from normal to blocked up goes rather fast so I can't even go to the console by ctrl-alt-f1. Has anyone experienced the same problem or a clue on how to find a solution to this problemo?
