I am no expert but I think I have found a mistake

# FAT ~ Linux calls FAT file systems vfat)
# /dev/hda1
UUID=12102C02102CEB83 /media/windows ntfs-3g auto,users,uid=1000,gid=100,dmask=027,fmask=137,ut f8 0 0


shouldnt this be "vfat" instead of "ntfs-3g" when above it says its for a fat file system?

Indeed, a mistake.
Top-right of page shows a login-link..
You can login with your launchpad account and edit the page yourself if you wish.

You use Launchpad credentials to login and edit the wiki yourself.
Alternatively, you can file a bug and the documentation team will take care of it when they can - https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-docs
