Hi all,
I have noticed on my install of Jaunty that surround sound is being handled incorectly.
If i do a..speaker-test -c 6 -D surround51 -t wav
from the terminal all the speakers work correctly. However if i play a movie with 5.1 sound in totem or kaffeine, i just get the left and right channels repeated out of the surround speakers.
I'm using onboard Intel HD audio.
I have had this working properly under Hardy and Intrepid.
Does anyone know how to solve this?
Thanks
