The newly installed ubuntu 8.04 recognizes the printer Canon BJC 1000 which is connected to my Dell Dimension 4100. It just prints too tiny to be readable. I tried "Expand" on the Advanced tab for printer setup but to no avail. Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Hi jasti! First of all Welcome to the Ubuntu Forums.
Since, I believe, this forum is for Dell hardware with ubuntu installed natively, and you mentioned "newly installed", you may get a better response rate in the Hardware/Laptops forum, with your printer problem. Might I suggest that you post a new thread there? For the title of the new thread, might I also suggest: "Canon BJC 1000 prints too small".
Hopefully that will get you some quick, accurate responses. :-)
For your convenience I have posted a link below; and good luck...

My pleasure. I'm sure they / we can get the problem solved without too much confusion.
