I recently installed 9.04 on my iMac. I had originally installed Gutsy a while ago with Boot Camp. The problem is that when I turn on my Mac, the blank white screen lasts a long time before the grey apple icon appears (I would say about 30 seconds). This is a problem because I primarily use OS X and only dual booted Ubuntu to mess around.

Can anyone help me find a solution to this problem? Ubuntu has been great so far.

first when you boot up in leopard boot with -v which sets it into verbose mode tell me l8er what line it stops at so i can help you with more detail and understand more of whats happening i might have you log into ubuntu and unlock macintosh hd so edit a few things but dont mess with macintosh hd just yet just boot macintosh hd (leopard) with -v in the boot options please update me l8er with your situation process;)
