I have ePSXe for Windows and it works nicely, except that I can't get it to run ISO images of disks (screen just goes blank).
However, I would like to get the emulator running in Ubuntu, but the one I found (PCSX) seems to be a pain to get running. Any useful advice?

Thank you! =D
I got it all running from the cdrom, but when I try to run an image file, the window is just blank. Also, some disks seem to act up when I try to get an ISO image from them, and the "dd if=/dev/cdrom of=image.iso bs=1024" in Linux doesn't work at all. I used a Windows program to get the image files I do have, and I wonder if there's a special way I need to extract the image files for PS-1 games.
Also, why do I need to actually type in the command in the terminal? I tried to make a custom application launcher, but when I click it, nothing happens.

*update* it says I must disable multithreading. How do I do that?
