pop up blocker

I'm on a dating site & cannot get IM's. Someone said to disable pop-up blocker, but I can't find it here.


Any advice?

In Firefox, go Edit/Preferences, choose the Content Tab. Untick the box that says "Block popup windows".

Sounds like that should do it.

try the adblock plus extention for firefox.

If you are using google chrome:
Go to the wrench button in upper right
Preferences
"Under the hood" tab
then "content settings" under privacy
There is a list of options along the left, go to pop-ups
