None of the previous post helped because they don't apply to my magnificent problems.

I am running Windows XP through virtual box on Ubuntu 9.*. My problem is when starting the VM of Windows I get this awesome error message stating:

Some audio devices (PCM_in, PCM_mic) could not be opened.
Guest applications generating audio output or depending
on audio input may hang. Make sure your host audio device
is working properly. Check the logfile for error messages
of the audio subsystem.

Error ID:
HostAudioNotResponding
Severity:
Warning

The audio settings are:

Host Driver:
ALSA Audio Driver
Controller:
ICH AC97

Mind you I can play sound from multiple sources (ie: Firefox, Songbird, Pidgin, Urban Terror btw my name WatchMeGoKurwaa if ya wanna play) on my Ubuntu desktop using Alsa. However I get no sound from my virtual box windows.
If any one can help meh I will give them 10gp plox.
