Yeah, basically, I think I'd learn programming faster if I had someone to learn with.

I could see why many of you people will scream at me for posting this. But...Well, but nothing.
Doesn't matter what programming level...Novice, intermediate, advanced. If you want, add me. If not, drats.
Thanks

Basically, on my contacts list, I've
0
Programming buddies. So when I talk about programming, all I get is sarcastic, one word responses - The most popular being:
Nice.
It's bad. I'd like someone to talk to about programming, on MSN. Some one to help me, or someone I can help. Someone I can make a small project with. It'd help me learn.

Well, you're really scaring people off. I'd suggest you breath a little and try to not act as "scary" ;).
My second tip. join #C++ in Dalnet/Freenode, and try to get some potential friends to help and chat with you.
Third tip. Unlike what you're doing know, try to act like you won't be simply using them as a tool. This is the idea I'm getting from your few words here.

OK that is cool...I am starting my college classes for my degree in computer and information science through UMUC I am taking ENGL101 and CMIS 141 intro to programming this spring 06 semester, so you can add me and I will work with you because for the next 3 years I will be getting into programming more than I have and on an academic level instead of just reading on my own.
I have my MSN and other contact info plugged into the forum if you would like just when you first see my online remeind me who you are...

Please, tell me how I am being scary, so that I can stop - I really don't want to be scary, lol.
I'm not looking for a "tool". I am looking for a buddy, or four :)
Thanks for the reply.
