Dear All,
Hello! I have just joined the ubuntu forums. Although a relative newbie to linux and ubuntu, I have used Red Hat (a long time ago - ver 7 I think and wasn't impressed), Suse 8.2 onwards, Mepis and the business card distros like DSL and Puppy. Suse has come on a lot and Mepis runs a close second but Ubuntu beats them all! I have now permanently switched to ubuntu linux as my main operating system and if it wasn't for my cheap xerox usb scanner not working in sane I would abandon Microsoft products for good (well until someone sent me a MS word doc that didn't open properly in Abiword or OO!)
