JJ, 64-bit. external USB DAC connected (Pro-Ject USB Box)
sound is OK (very good) in almost all applications, latest PulseAudio from its ppa.
from Konqueror, FF3.5 and FF 3.6 (nightly) only extracted to respective directory in /home/...: sound (in flash also, latest 64-bit plugin from February (alpha)) sound works great.
firefox-3.5 installed either from Ubuntu repo-s or (now) from daily ppa: sound is highly distorted, as the first phase of decoding went wrong ... especially in flash ...
firefox-3.5 was reinstalled, un-installed+installed, whatever but no solution.
this is not too important since that is the only application that has problem with sound and FF3.5 and FF3.6 work great so I do not even start firefox-3.5 except to check if it repaired itself ... :)
any ideas... ?
