I'm putting a slide show together and I'd like to add a VERY subtle zoom effect to some pictures (if it's not difficult to do). So that it looks like there is a very tiny amount of motion but it's barely noticeable on each individual photo. Is there a way of doing this? I'm used to using Adobe After Effects and with that, you could just set two key frames with different values for scale and that was all you had to do.

There is a plugin called Composite which let's you pan & zoom in pictures. I think it's fairly new and only present in kdenlive 0.7.3 and later.

Here's a tutorial (http://kdenlive.org/tutorial/kdenlive-creating-video-panorama) on how to use it.
