Hi,

In 9.04 i used 'networkmanager', edited 'dsl' tab to add my config and am able to connect to net automatically.

But i want it to connect/disconnect via 'at' command at particular times only ( like night 12 to 4 am), coz of free bandwidth at those times. How to do it?

In older ubuntu i used pppoeconf so it was easy to add pon/poff commands in script. Will i have to go back to that? or any other way? 'networkmanager' is gui only?

try this , in your terminal type crontab -e and add the following line

2 22 * * * /usr/bin/pon dsl-provider

the above line should connect your internet at 2:22am

It threw this error

The file /etc/ppp/peers/dsl-provider does not exist. Please create it or use
a command line argument to use another file in the /etc/ppp/peers/ directory.

I figured it out.

Yeah..

Just configure pppoeconf...

And you can schedule connections as you used to do in older *buntus...
