Hello,

I've had a few issues with having my desktop/menus mess up after updates, but this is the only one (that I know of) that I haven't been able to fix.

The "Advanced Desktop Settings" option has disappeared from my System/Preferences menu. It used to be there - I even have my applications move around all wobbly and I have the flame effect for when I close Firefox... but when I went to look for the option to play around again, I couldn't find it. I'm having this issue with two computers, both of which are running Intrepid. Both computers are up to date with the updates that pop up every once in awhile.

Am I missing something here?

Thanks

Try System -> Preferences -> Main Menu. When that is open, look for "Preferences" under "System" and after clicking on "Preferences", look for "Advanced Desktop Settings" and check the box next to it if it is not.

Darn, I wish I had mentioned this in the original post so as not to waste your time.
Before I came here, I did try that. ADS is just not an option anywhere (that I can find). :(
