I'm fairly new to the world of Kubuntu. I recently upgraded from version 8.10 to 9.04. I was having trouble connecting to my wireless internet and in trying some solution I found on the web I somehow seem to have "deleted" the Network Management widget! It's not available in the "Add Widgets" dialog and I can't seem to find any other way of configuring my internet connections.

I went to System Setting -> Add and Remove Software and tried to install the network-manager-kde and plasma-widget-network-manager packages. I get an error saying "Unknown error - System Settings. Details: network-manager-kde was not installed." Without any further details.
The same happens for networkstatus and plasma-widget-network-manager. They do not get installed.

I have the libqt4-network, network-manager and network-manager-gnome installed.

When I try to install these packages through the Konsole using this command: sudo aptitude install network-manager-kde it says "No candidate version found for network-manager-kde"

Help?!

I'm using KDE version 4.2.2

Thanks!
