Hey all. I've got a small problem and I would like your help if possible on this. I have an Intel NAS SS4200. I recently made a "download-only pc" using a Shuttle K45. I installed Ubuntu 9.04 on this one.

What I want to do is to use the shared folders there as network drives so I can download there. I search over the net and found out that I have to add some lines in fstab. Ok, that's easy. But I don't have permissions to add lines in fstab :o So I guess I should be root? Hmm...

Also, for some reason, I get a message that I don't have permission toy write on the NAS's drives, which is fine since I selected that from the NAS's settings :P Still, I never get any window that asks my credentials so I can write on my NAS.

So I have to do 2 things. First be able to write on NAS and then, if possible, map them as network drives.

Thanks in advance!
