Hi there

I've had problems with my wifi adapter (rt2500) for some time now. I think the problems started when the kernel included the rt2500 driver. (At least, that's what I think I've read somewhere in the forums.)

By reading the forums, I understand that I'm not the only one having problems with a rt2500 based adapter, but it seems that it works just fine for some, and only some of us have problems.

Well, today I brought my laptop to work, an whoosh! The wifi was working perfectly. Now I'm back home and it doesn't work.

It gave me this theory: Could it be related to a combination of the network controller, the rt2500 driver and certain wifi access points?

Personally I have a ZyXEL P-660HW-D1 access point (wifi built into the ADSL router). Could others with trouble with the rt2500 driver tell us what access point they are using?

Btw, I also tried changing the channel, turning off all encryption, setting the mode to B, etc. Nothing works. But it works fine on my other computers.
