time stamp on dv video

Hi

I'm trying to find a way to get the time stamp to show up on video recorded from a DV camcorder. Does anyone know a way to do this? Thanks.

if using Windows there are a few add-ons that will allow you to show the time/date stamp on the video. Just google, CNET has a few recommendations.
If using Linux based programs (such as Kdenlive), I'm not sure. I haven't got that far into it yet.

Looks like Kino can do it. Also avisynth(windows) does a great job of it.
