After upgrading to Jaunty, my load is constantly at 5-6 and I have high IOWait. I also noticed my built-in card reader is a lot slower, so I suspect it to cause the high IOWait.
Can anyone help me to revert to previous drivers or to completely disable the reader?

This is the relevant part from lspci:

01:04.2 SD Host controller: O2 Micro, Inc. Integrated MMC/SD Controller (rev 01)
01:04.3 Mass storage controller: O2 Micro, Inc. Integrated MS/xD Controller (rev 01)

So, not exactly what the OP wants to do but related. I have one of those Dell monitors with the multi-card reader in the side of it. I never use 'em and I have entries for them in Nautilus. (even without a card mounted)

Anyone know of a way to hide 'em?
