I think it's a Hardware issue it's just an old PS optiplex gx280
ubuntu server 8.10

when I go to console(as in walk over to the machine because I can't ssh to it anymore)
after it locked up had to force down

this has happened a few times with this box

usually I'm at work go to pull up my site and it won't come up and I can't remote in.

Cool thanks I'll check that one when I get home I copied the whole /var/log over to my desktop to make easier to read through

I also upgraded it to jaunty-server which went pretty smooth.

I know I have a few mis configurations I need to address one is my mailbox size is smaller than my mailbox message size I think..

haven't had time to correct it yet but don't thinnk it would cause these lockup's
