I was listening to C-span today. There was a hearing on computer security that really concerned me. Here is the message I sent to one of the panel member's company:

>>>>
First
ISA's president Larry Clinton sounded kinda uninformed on his May 1 statements to a congressional subcommittee. He always seemed to be making it up as he was going along.

Second
He advocated "incentivising" computer system users to take security measures.
His primary message seemed to be "force companies to buy our services."

If that is your alliance's policy then you guys are part of the problem....

The hearing took place on May 1, 2009. If you are intrested in computer security ssues and public policy. You might want to check out the testimony from the "experts" that will be used to guide USA lawmakers.
