Installation Problem

Hi,

I'm trying to install Ubuntu inside windows using wubi, and I've downloaded the files, burned them to disk, started up the installer and got most of the way. However, the installer stopped completely at 'Creating the virtual disks' and thinking this just might take a while, I left the computer on all day to try and finish it up so I could come back to it later. 5 hours later, the installation still hasn't finished! Is this normal or have I done something wrong?

5 hours does not sound normal to me. Did you check the CD prior to running the install?

Yeah it's the second one I've made so I'm pretty sure it's fine.. and I've managed to install a full version on a seperate partition before but couldn't get the wifi working after a few days of trying so I decided to give this way a go.
