Hey everyone,
I have a basic emedia midi controller that i purchased to learn playing the piano / keyboard. It's supposedly plug and play with mac and windows. I have been trying to learn about ubuntu studio and it seems that you have to have multiple programs running at the same time. That's cool i guess but my question is - If i open up jack control or rosegarden, how do i select the midi controller? It is a usb midi controller so would there be a usb listing or a /dev listing? everytime i choose external midi controller i'm offered a text box to enter the device.
