Hello, i just installed a windows program using wine and i would like to make it pass through a proxy. on windows i was using sockscap in order to do so. any ideas?

configure the windows program to use your proxy server.

If you are asking for recommendations on a proxy server for Ubuntu, then this really isn't the right forum.

the program can't be configured to use proxy and i thought i can set it up on wine or something. you are right, i think i posted on the wrong forum, sorry

Well, you did mention sockscap, you could try it under Wine and it might work with programs run under Wine
