Hello,

I'm wanting to give mythbuntu a whirl and the last component I am in search of is a tv tuner and remote. I'm looking to do this cheaply as well ($30 USD max), and the tuner needs to do ATSC as I don't want to buy a converter box in a month. Can be pci, pci-e x1, or USB. And of course, I'm posting here b/c I'm hoping to get one that works w/ Mythbuntu w/o having to go through the rig-a-ma-roll of RMAs. Any suggestions?

Thanks

No suggestions? Price too low? ATSC?

Well, I cannot say for sure that no card exists for $30, but that's pretty cheap... :) Here is a link to the main mythbuntu tuner card page, you can google some of the cards there and see what kind of prices you come up with.

See ya later.

Thanks for the link, yeah I know I may be hoping for too much I guess. ATSC tuners are few and far between there on that list. I've been thinking though I may not need ATSC. I thought I had this digital transition all figured out, but now I'm not so sure. The TV the dvr is getting hooked up to has cable, it just doesn't have a box. I initially thought this means I am receiving NTSC soon to be ATSC come June, but now I'm not so sure what I need. Comcast is my provider. Anybody provide some insight on that as well?
