Hi!

I am setting up a virtual machine in Sun VirtualBox. I need it to play old games (Heroes III, Baldur's Gate etc.) on when I buy a new laptop (with Vista on it).

To make things easier I want a automated Wine-menu like in ubuntu (sort of the M$ startmenu). But running a full ubuntu in a WM seems like overkill to me. I am using debian 5.0 with openbox.

Can I get it in a NETWM compatible menu (like fbpanel or lxpanel). If not? How do I install it in gnome-panel?

So you want to put your wine start menu on the G-nome pannal? To my knollage you cant...
But you can how ever drag an item from the menu to the panel or desktop

I'm having trouble understanding what you are actually trying to do and the screenshot you provided really doesn't help. It sounds like you are trying to run Wine on an OS in a virtual machine, but you want the menu shortcuts from that virtual machine to appear on the host OS Application menu? If so, I don't think that is possible.
