roland 1880 multitrack

has anyone found any software to get ubuntu to be able to see files recorded on the roland 1880 hard disk multitrack? i can't remember the format the 1880 uses offhand, but its rolands proprietary format. just wondering if anyone out there has tried. did some searching but only found software for windows (which i couldn't get to work) thanks!

I would suggest continuing this discussion here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1064548 as Boss and Roland products most likely utilize very similar setups (same company). Particularly if you could post the answers to the questions Kayosiii was asking then an answer would probably follow shortly.
