So i upgraded my system last night. A few pretty weird thing happened. Computer auto-shut off. Now, my old xorg.conf isnt working correnctly. I have dual monitors, and my xorg.conf was overwritten as I was trying to get my system working again this morning.

Has anyone else had this problem?

For the life of me, I cant get my xorg.conf (that was working 2 days ago) to work, and I've tweaked-- and nothing.

To make matters even weirder, when I have both monitors plugged in when booting up, my left screen will show the splash screen, then the right screen shows my mouse (this part is normal) then nothing. I can see both monitors turned on, but no login screen appears. If I type my username and pass, i can hear the comp log in (plays login sound) but i cant see anything.

Currently using 2.6.28-11
