Hardware Recommendations?

I am building a new desktop PC from scratch and am interested in dual booting mythbuntu with XP. Are there any hardware recommendations for mythbuntu or any hardware I should avoid?

Intel or AMD? Or no difference?

nVidia or ATI? Or no difference?

What DVB-T cards are recommended? Any recommended DVB-S2 cards also?

There is not difference with Intel or AMD. Take the one that suits you best..

For a graphics card, nVidia has the best drivers (= less Terminal), but ATi's drivers are catching up little by little.. As of now, I'd suggest a nVidia card.

Thanks. In that case I am going to stick with Windows XP and not bother with Ubuntu. I am more likely to get an ATI card anyway. I have now found plenty of free Windows media center options so I've got no need to mess around with something like Linux.
