Ok so 2 days ago i decided to format my whole hard drive, first thing i did was installing vista again.
Then after that i decided to install ubuntu 8.10 again (i know there has been an update, but had that CD and i don't mind upgrading later.)

Before i had a dual boot vista - ubuntu, but then i chose to install ubuntu under windows as a program, but that only allowed me to have 30 GB space on it :'(

So now first thing i did was, partition my hard drive, made 100 gb free space on a seperate partition, then installed my ubuntu on it.

when i rebooted i got grub error 21

I been trying to fix it by reading other posts etc... but nothing wanted to work :S

So Please, Post any possible solution, i'll try them all untill it works, really need both vista and ubuntu.

Thanks in advance ;)

Grub Error 21 is most often cured by re-installing grub. Boot a live cd and follow this (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=224351). If that doesn't work, you could try super grub disc from here (http://www.supergrubdisk.org/index.php?pid=5).
