As I recall, "disconnected" usually indicates driver issue - what kind of cards?

The first one is a
D-Link System RTL8139 Ethernet
and the second one is a
Micro-Star International VT6102 [Rhine-II]
I will really appreciated if you could help me with this.

Thank you.

:confused: I am relatively sure it is a driver problem but I am not sure where to start. I have those two network cards that are recognized by ubuntu but I cannot connect them can you help me please.

The first one is a

* D-Link System RTL8139 Ethernet

and the second one is a

* Micro-Star International VT6102 [Rhine-II]

I will really appreciated if you could help me with this.
Thank you.

Are they wireless or wired?

A quick Google search (I'm not familiar with them, either) shows them to be 10/100 (wired) cards. It also revealed several sites for drivers, but I'm not sure which ones work with/for Ubuntu.

What are results of lshw -C network?
