Firefox odd behaviors

Greetings,

Firefox just started behaving very oddly today. I keep recieving an "Assertion Failed" message. See below screenshot for example

Also, not in the top right corner where the favicon should be shown it has been replaced with an X graphic. I am some what of a noob at linux security and do not know what is going on or what I should do.

Does this only happen with your virtualmin?

have you restarted the browser after the latest firefox updates?

I was receiving that error on every page I tried to go to. Furthermore I wasn't able to get to the internet through firefox. I have to be using Konqueror to post this.

I guess firefox was updated recently. I hadn't restarted it, and now that I have it seems to be working as I expect it to. But, that doesn't seem to explain the icon change?
