Manual Package Selection

I installed Ubuntu Server x64 today and selected 'manual package' selection from the installer. My question is when I see a list of packages to be installed.

My question is under the "Installed Packages" section, how do I remove or mark something not to be installed?

It shows up top to press g: Download / Install / Remove pkgs.

Can someone please help me and explain how I can remove packages via CLI installer?

usually you select options by pressing the space-bar....at least thats how the installers are configured

Normally yes, the space bar works but not in the "server" cd. I don't understand how to remove packages from aptitude which is what the 9.04 server cd uses during the installer.
