I need help with installing Diablo 2 LOD

hi i just upgraded to Ubuntu 9.04 and i wanted to install diablo 2 lod.
im total noob with ubuntu. im trying to install this on my hp dv5000 laptop.
please help!!!

thanks got it to work perfectly
only problem is the lag when i play on bnet
anything to do to change that? i run on verizon and i shouldnt lag :(

Perhaps upgrading wine to the latest development version would help. 1.1.20 came out a few days ago. I'm using it with Counterstrike Source among a few other's right now.

Might work better for you. I've noticed my fps has nearly doubled after the update. Very nice :D
