View Full Version : [ubuntu] wireless cant connect

Hi
I have tried many things but I cant get my wireless working. It finds the network ok but it keeps popping up, asking for password. My network is using wpa2 encryption and i use Ubuntu 9.04.

I also have this problem, I am running Ubuntu Netbook Remix on my Acer aspire one, the wireless was working perfect yesturday, but now has suddenly stopped working and every time it asks for a password, i enter the correct password, and it asks again for the password, but enters a load of random letters in the password box every time i try :(:(

Please can someone help, Thank you

Try installing Wicd and change encryption wep64.

How about trying alternate atheros driver? would that help

Edit- Any help? I would really like to be able to get it working again..

I have tried installing WICD but it's the same problem. WICD just says: None: validating authentication. Never connects.
